Jonny-James most recently starred in the off-Broadway production of SPARE PARTS for Theatre Row and in the off-Broadway production of ORATORIO FOR LIVING THINGS at the Signature Theatre.

Jonny-James was raised in Suffolk by Ugandan parents. He went to Harrow on full scholarship, and turned down Oxford and RADA to attend The Juilliard School where he was a co-recipient of the John Houseman Prize for demonstrating exceptional ability in classical acting. His stage credits at Juilliard include MEASURE FOR MEASURE, HENRY IV, THE ORESTEIA, THE AENEID, THE CHERRY ORCHARD, and in his final year playing ‘Lady Bracknell’ in THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST.
