Irfan will soon begin rehearsals for an as yet unannounced West End play. This will add to an impressive list of theatre credits that includes ROBOTA for Headlong, MARRIAGE MATERIAL at the Lyric Hammersmith, THE CORD and THE ARRIVAL, both for the Bush Theatre, SONS OF THE PROPHET at Hampstead Theatre, HAMLET and METAMORPHOSES, both at the Sam Wanamaker Playhouse, ONE FOR SORROW at the Royal Court, DANCE NATION at the Almeida and MAYFLY at the Orange Tree, for which he was awarded Equity’s Clarence Darwent Award.
Irfan’s television credits include the upcoming RED FLAG for Channel 5, BBC/HBO’s INDUSTRY, Disney+’s SHARDLAKE, ITV’s THE WALK-IN with Stephen Graham, THE IPCRESS FILE with Lucy Boynton, Joe Cole and Tom Hollander, BBC’S INFORMER and Netflix’s THE DARK CRYSTAL.
Irfan recently completed filming on the feature film adaptation of THE ARRIVAL, directed by Bijan Sheibani. His other feature film credits include RED JOAN and MURDER ON THE ORIENT EXPRESS.
