Alex plays ‘Conor McSweeney’ in THE YOUNG OFFENDERS, which has just premiered its fifth series on BBC and RTE.
Alex most recently appeared on stage in THREE SISTERS at the Gaiety Theatre for Dublin Theatre Festival. His other theatre credits include THE FERRYMAN, also at the Gaiety, THE DUBLINERS, PHILADELPHIA HERE I COME! at the Cork Opera House and the Gaiety Theatre’s production of Martin McDonagh’s THE LIEUTENANT OF INISHMORE, in which he starred alongside Paul Mescal.
Alex can now be seen in cinemas SAIPAN, starring alongside Eanna Hardwicke and Steve Coogan, and will next be seen in the sci-fi thriller WHITE MARS. His other big screen credits include THE YOUNG OFFENDERS and THE LONELIEST BOY IN THE WORLD.
On television Alex most recently starred in CRÁ for BBC Northern Ireland; he is currently filming the second series. In addition to THE YOUNG OFFENDERS, his other television credits include Lenny Abrahamson’s CONVERSATIONS WITH FRIENDS.
