Alex plays ‘Conor McSweeney’ in THE YOUNG OFFENDERS, which has just wrapped filming its fifth series.
Alex most recently appeared on stage in THREE SISTERS at the Gaiety Theatre for Dublin Theatre Festival. His other theatre credits include THE FERRYMAN, also at the Gaiety, THE DUBLINERS, PHILADELPHIA HERE I COME! at the Cork Opera House and the Gaiety Theatre’s production of Martin McDonagh’s THE LIEUTENANT OF INISHMORE, in which he starred alongside Paul Mescal.
Alex will next be seen in two feature films: SAIPAN, which premiered at this year’s Toronto and London Film Festivals, and sci-fi thriller WHITE MARS. His other big screen credits include THE YOUNG OFFENDERS and THE LONELIEST BOY IN THE WORLD.
On television Alex most recently starred in CRÁ for BBC Northern Ireland. In addition to THE YOUNG OFFENDERS, his other television credits include Lenny Abrahamson’s CONVERSATIONS WITH FRIENDS.
